SederLaw Partner Pam Stevens was honored as the 2019 Recipient of the Business Forward Females (BFF) Leadership Award from the Corridor 9/495 Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Stevens was presented the award in front of 150 women leaders at the BFF luncheon in conjunction with International Women Month that took place on March 12.
About Stevens
Stevens has been practicing law for over 29 years for both large and small firms. Her expertise in business, real estate, and employment law, along with her dedication to exemplary service for her clients, has led this woman to becoming a full partner for Seder & Chandler in 2018, one of Worcester’s largest law firms.
Beyond her work at the firm, she teaches in the Graduate and Professional Studies Program at Assumption College and is a former Adjunct Professor for Anna Maria College for their paralegal program for Business and Commercial Law.
Stevens founded the “Lawyers in the Classroom” program for the Worcester County Bar Association matching attorneys with teachers to deliver legal curriculum in schools, organized and executed the “Pink the Rink Basket” Raffle for the Castleton University Blue Line Club, and in 2018, raised the highest money in the event’s 10-year history.
She is a regular volunteer instructor for Center for Women and Enterprise and assists nonprofits with legal work.
She has served in multiple volunteer leadership roles including Board Chair for Resolve of the Bay State, Board Vice President of Camp Fire Council of Central New England, Board Member of Worcester Fights Back, and Holden Cultural Council.
Stevens is the co-founder of the Business Forward Females program for the Corridor 9/495 Regional Chamber, continuously recruits prominent guest speakers, and was instrumental in developing a BFF mentoring program for high school female students.
She is a champion supporter of women in sports and currently serves as the Director of the “Play it Forward Sport Foundation” to advance gender equity in sports at all levels and create opportunities for women in sports.
