Infidelity revealed in Moore and Kutcher divorce

As readers of our Worcester family law blog may be aware, a couple may decide to get divorced due to a multitude of reasons. Disagreement over finances, jobs and the stress of everyday life may cause a couple to split ways. Perhaps one of the biggest reasons for a Massachusetts divorce continues to be infidelity. Infidelity can place an irreconcilable strain on a relationship. This is true for both Central Massachusetts residents and celebrities.

The highly publicized divorce between Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher has recently revealed the actor cheated during their relationship. Moore has officially filed her response to Kutcher’s divorce filing and the papers reveal the cheating secret. In her response, Moore states November 17, 2011 was the date of their separation. The date is drawing a lot of attention from the media, since Ashton had a rendezvous with a woman in San Diego in September of 2011. According to the woman, Kutcher said he was separated. Their meet up occurred on Moore and Kutcher’s 6-year wedding anniversary.

According to the papers filed by Moore, it’s apparent she still thought the couple were together while he was with another woman. She is seeking spousal support from Kutcher and is requesting that he pay her legal bills. The couple will also have to address the division of their marital property and debts. The reason for the split is cited as irreconcilable differences.

If Moore and Kutcher are unable to reach an agreement their case may go to trial. Kutcher officially filed for the divorce in December of 2012. He is currently the highest paid actor on TV and made $24 million last year for his work on Two and a Half Men.
