Our firm’s sophisticated banking & finance, real estate, and corporate practice groups seek a junior to mid-level Transactional Associate (J.D. class years 2013-2017) for our Worcester office. The ideal candidate will have general transactional experience with a commercial lending, commercial real estate and corporate background. Preferred prior experience includes: (i) representation of banks, credit unions and other financiers in commercial loan and other corporate finance transactions, and drafting commercial loan documents; (ii) commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing and zoning/planning board hearings; and (iii) drafting corporate and organizational documents.
The ideal candidate will have (i) a strong academic record; (ii) excellent oral and written communication skills and a keen attention to detail; (iii) the ability to manage multiple and diverse projects; and (iv) a demonstrated ability to take immediate responsibility in at least one of the above practice areas, along with a willingness to commit to additional learning and training in the others. Submissions from candidates that are currently based in, or willing to permanently relocate to, Worcester, MA (or its surrounding suburbs) are strongly preferred.
