Phil Coppinger is an associate of the firm who focuses his practice primarily in commercial insolvency and reorganization law, representing creditors and debtors in bankruptcy proceedings and out-of-court workouts. In addition, Mr. Coppinger has worked on a variety of other matters, including commercial real estate leases, financing transactions focusing on debt facilities, and general corporate counsel.

Mr. Coppinger is a member of the Worcester County Bar Association, in which he serves as co-chair of the Bankruptcy Section. Mr. Coppinger is also a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the Massachusetts Turnaround Management Association.

Prior to joining Seder & Chandler, LLP, Mr. Coppinger was an associate at Goodwin Procter LLP from 1999 until 2002 and served as law clerk to the Honorable Leif M. Clark, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Western District of Texas, from 1998 until 1999. In law school, Mr. Coppinger served as Executive Editor on Boston College's UCC Reporter-Digest.

Mr. Coppinger is a member of the Massachusetts Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court in Massachusetts.
