SEDER & CHANDLER ATTORNEYS WIN DEFENSE VERDICT IN CASE AGAINST MANUFACTURER

Kurt Binder and James Vevone recently prevailed in a five-day jury trial in Worcester Superior Court in which our client, the Defendant manufacturer of paving equipment, was sued by a Massachusetts distributor alleging fraud and misrepresentation regarding the performance of certain paving equipment. The defense focused on the fact that the Plaintiffs were well aware of the risks and issues presented with the prototype equipment, yet assumed the risk of proceeding with the construction project. The jury returned a defense verdict after deliberating for only one hour.
